I recommend giving the class a try if you have the option to do it! As with everything else in exercising, you get out of it what you put into it. So if you only half heartedly do it, don't expect to feel it the next day (or in my case, as you are leaving class!)
But I will say I think I miss the torture machine at the gym (the AMT Machine). Its like a cross country skiing/elliptical thing. I don't know how else to describe it. If I remember the next time I use it, I will take a photo of it. In 30 minutes one can burn approx. 300 calories! I think it has helped me get to where I am today with my weight loss.
WHICH, by the way, I have made it to my first goal!!! I have made it to 200 pounds! FINALLY! It has been 10 years since I have seen 200 pounds! I am so happy. All this hard work is starting to pay off! So since February, I have lost about 15 pounds. Next goal is 190!
